JULIA GALLEGO VALDÉS
Artista plástica licenciada en Bellas Artes por la universidad de Salamanca en el año 1997.
A partir de entonces completo mi formación y trayectoria artística con diversos cursos, becas y estancias de creación dentro y fuera de España (Grecia, México D.F., Barcelona o Uruguay entre otros).
Desde el año 2005 fijo mi estudio en Asturias, donde resido y desde donde trabajo en mi obra que ha sido expuesta en diferentes galerías, espacios culturales y museos tanto en exposiciones individuales como colectivas, dentro y fuera de España.
Mis obras, a medio camino entre la figuración y la abstracción, recrean espacios naturales donde el único protagonista es el paisaje. Lugares imaginarios en los que, con un lenguaje lo más sencillo posible y abierto a la interpretación del espectador, trato de reflejar las emociones que la Naturaleza me transmite.

I complete my formation and artistic path with diverse courses, grants and stays of creation inside and out of Spain (Athens, Mexico D.F., Barcelona or Uruguay between others).
From the year 2005 I fixed my study in Asturias (Spain), where I live and from where I developed my work which has already been exhibited in many galleries and cultural spaces in individual as collective exhibitions.
My work – halfway between imagination and abstraction – recreates natural spaces, where the landscape is the sole protagonist.
In these imaginary places, I try to represent the emotions instilled in her by Nature. The language used is as simple as possible and is open to the spectator’s interpretation.
